My Bookshelf

“Life puts some of the more valuable things on the high shelf so that you can’t get to them until you qualify. If you want the things on the high shelf, you must stand on the books you read. With every book you read, you get to stand a little higher.” Jim Rohn

I believe that healing from child molestation requires that people change every area of their lives, including what they read, watch, and listen to.  What people put inside of them is exactly what comes out of them.

As we were taught in elementary school, input = output.

The Bible puts it this way, ‘As a man thinketh in his heart, so is he.’

“Reading selected books helped rid me of a poor self-image and increased my desire to want to be better and do better.” Stephanie L. Jones
